Job Summary
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to oversee the performance and maintenance of our renewable energy systems, ensuring their optimal operation and longevity. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in electrical engineering, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proven time management abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
• Monitor the performance of solar energy systems, ensuring they meet production and efficiency targets.
• Analyse performance data and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Develop and implement O&M procedures and best practices.
Maintenance Management:
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and fault rectification processes.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical support and guidance to the O&M team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to recurring technical issues.
Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding system performance, maintenance schedules, and issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and engineers, to optimize operations.
Time and Resource Management:
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
• Ensure cost-efficient operation while maintaining high system reliability.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar energy projects, with a strong focus on operations and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Energy Management Systems and performance monitoring platforms is an advantage.
