Our client (IT sector) in Midrand is looking for experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist in Human Resource department.  Successful candidate would report to Human Resource Manager and be expected to lead 5 staff members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with recruitment agencies and other service providers
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Determine selection criteria
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Leads employer branding initiatives
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Manage 5 staff members
  • Work closely and learn from Human Resource Manager who is leaving end of the year.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Successful candidate would be expected to spend lot of time with Human Resource Manager and be ready to take over his position 1 January 2021.
