Introduction
Our client is a Private Company business incorporated in South Africa on July 19, 1999. Their business is recorded as Deregistration Process. The activity is registered as Mining Activities. The company was incorporated 26 years ago.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities include but not limited to the following,
• Payroll on Sage Business Cloud Professional Payroll (VIP)
• Organize and maintain personnel records/files.
• Update internal databases (e.g., record annual, sick and maternity leave, retirement annuity and life cover calculations)
• Prepare HR documents, like offers of employment, contracts, retirement fund forms, dummy pay slips, employee tax calculations.
• Checking/controlling the number of hours employees have worked (timesheets)
• Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, pay slips and other payroll matters
• Changing employee bank records when necessary to process
• Revise company HR policies
• Answer employees’ queries about Payroll and HR-related issues
• EMP201 and EMP501 submissions and resolution of issues
• Annual WSP and EE submissions
• Annual COID submissions
• Participate in HR projects.
Requirements and Skills
• A Diploma in HR, Finance or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
• Experience with payroll processing software and familiarity with payroll taxes and regulations
• Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Administrative Assistant or relevant role
• Experience with Payroll software, like SBCPP
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications)
• Knowledge of labour laws
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
• Strong telephone, email and in-person communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
