Tax Compliance Officer. (Not administrator)

and cultivate accessible relationships with all our clients from various small, medium and large business
establishments.
Services provided by our office exist in two separate but interlinked departments, these departments
include auditors, accountants and business advisors, and also deliver tax and payroll services amongst
others. Both of these departments offer SAICA and CIMA trainee contracts, respectively, for graduates.

Job Purpose:

To manage a portfolio of clients.
Assist partners and clients with tax affairs.
Compilation of income tax returns
Administration of clients’ tax affairs

Primary Responsibilities:

Overseeing all aspects of vehicle management, including safety, training and finance.
Creating and managing fleet policies.
Assigning vehicles to drivers.
Managing accident reports.
Using GPS systems that find where vehicles are located—this makes it easier to track vehicles or
locate them if they’re lost or stolen.
Using devices for monitoring their drivers’ driving patterns, such as speeding and excess
braking.

Minimum Requirements:

Three years of work experience in the tax/compliance environment
Not necessary for the candidate to have their own vehicle. But they have to be in the office
daily
Diploma-, Graduate- or Post-Graduate degree in Tax or Accounting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technically competent, i.e., knowledge of the Income Tax Act.
Basic knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and other taxes.
Knowledge of how SARS works.
Aptitude for figures.
Ability to multi-task.
Good people and communication skills
Ability to work to deadline
Good problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive computer literacy.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good time management skills.
WIP management and achieving fee target
